About Lexi.
Hello! My name is Lexi Guelner and I will be graduating from the University of Mary in the spring of 2018 with a degree in elementary education and special education. I have had a passion for helping children who have disabilities since I was in middle school. I plan to strive to be like the teachers I had when I was in elementary school and help inspire my students the way I was inspired.
I am from Waterloo, Iowa where my parents and younger sister are currently still living. I chose to come to the University of Mary because I loved the fact it was small Catholic college since I have been apart of Catholic schools my whole life. To this day, I still believe choosing the University of Mary was the best decision I could have made! Above, I have included several pictures of my family and me! My parents have been nothing but supportive throughout my entire college career. My dad has always been the person I could go to for everything and has taught me from a young age to never be afraid of failure. He has always told me to never give up on my dreams and strive to do great things. God truly blessed me with a great family. I cannot wait to start my teaching career in the field of education! |
